Windows updates are designed to happen automatically, but it too often has problems with this feature. Computer backups have to be managed. Logs have to be read. Without doing all of these tasks any many more, you are not doing the basic things you need to do to keep your data safe. They say, "all the stuff you purchased is fine, but to keep you secure all that stuff has to be managed." Now they are telling you that you’re not good, there is more that has to be done. Your IT Services provider tells you, “No, you have all the stuff you need.” You're the small business owner, you’ve asked your IT Services provider multiple times, “is there anything more I should be doing?” That’s one of the top 5 questions small business owners ask when their IT Services provider moves away from pay-per-incident pricing to managed services pricing.
